I picked her from a photo taken when she was a few hours old…even then something told me she was special. She wasn't the pick, but my little ugly duckling has really turned into a Swan. On her first adventure outdoors at 4 weeks, she bounded out the door never stopping to discover there was something new there…steps. We learned quickly that Poppy doesn't know fear. She maneuvered them like an old pro and hasn't stopped since. 
Her sire's temperament is one that I'd never experienced before my trip to England. Joyous exuberance combined with tremendous focus that left me in awe and when I saw this same temperament in Poppy she won my heart. She's never met a stranger and whether it was the first plane trip cross country, first swim, first training class, or first show she's approached them all with such intelligence, confidence and happy, go-lucky attitude. Then, right when you think this bundle of energy will go forever, there she is snuggled up closer to you than your own skin. Everyone knows I love the boys, but Poppy rewrote the rules…
