I just loved the combination of substance and power these dogs had. They were sturdy, balanced and elegant. I kept seeing short backs, excellent bone and feet, along with their lovely heads.

In my search on these UK boxers, I came across the Global Boxers Website. I was quite impressed with Jammer, and sent the web page owner an email asking what this dog was producing here in the States. Little did I know this email would be the start of a wonderful friendship that would ultimately lead to my opportunity to purchase a well-bred UK import.

After many emails (some quite lengthy) and phone calls to Kti, I decided to pursue importing a male from the UK… I waited a very long time for just the right puppy to come along…..

After lots of waiting and a few disappointments, there came a twist of fate and I received an unexpected phone call… There was a puppy available out of the incredible stud dog Ch. Winuwuk Lust in the Dust!!! I just LOVED this dog, and what he was producing, and never thought I might be fortunate enough to own a pup sired by him.

Harley was on a plane in short order on his way here to Lemko Boxers. This brindle boy is a combination of the well known Winuwuk and Faerdorn Kennels. He doubles up on some of the most well known Record Winning and Producing boxers in the UK!!!!

Harley has a Heart of Gold, and is always amazing me with his rock solid temperament and incredible drive. At his first puppy match, he took a nap in the midst of all the chaos whilst people stepped over and around him with their dogs, yet was a ball of fire in the ring when it was “his” turn.

This lovely puppy has had some wonderful success here in the US conformation ring and is turning heads wherever he goes! At his first “real” show he won Best of Opposite in Sweepstakes at a Working Group Specialty with an entry of over 20 puppies…. Then we went to the 2004 ABC in Kentucky. My sole intent of bringing him there was for him to “be seen.” Well, he was certainly seen, as he ended up winning the 6-9 Month Brindle Dog class! Talk about a Dream come true! Shortly after our ABC trip, Harley won his class 7 times in a row and went Reserve Winners Dog under a well known breeder judge! What makes all these wins so special is that not only is he winning, but also this was all owner-handled!!!

I have high hopes for this handsome fellow's future, and hope he can be an asset to the breed here in the United States. Harley has some big footsteps to fill with his remarkable pedigree, and I truly hope he lives up to his Ancestor's heritage!
